These Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to all purchases made on the contini1933.co.uk website.

CONCLUSION OF THE CONTRACT

The order transmitted via the online form by the customer represents an offer addressed to RIVA 1933 S.R.L. aimed at concluding a contract of purchase and sale, under the conditions indicated therein as well as in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Sale which, with the telematic transmission of the order form, the customer undertakes to observe in relations with RIVA 1933 S.R.L.

Therefore, with the telematic transmission of the order form, the customer confirms that he/she knows and accepts the terms and conditions of sale as well as having received the additional information always available on the website. It is mandatory on the part of the Customer to provide all the master data required to complete the oridne. Orders that are incomplete and/or contain errors cannot be considered for the purpose stated in this article.

PRODUCT FEATURES AND PRICES

The characteristics of the products are as presented on the website and described within each product sheet. However, the images and colors of the products offered for sale online may not match the actual ones as a result of any graphic enhancements and implementations or as a result of the particular Internet browser and monitor being used.

GENERAL RULES

All retail prices include VAT and all products on our website are actually available at our location.
Shipment will always be accounted for with regular accompanying invoice and/or other equivalent document.
The cost of each shipment, the amount of which may vary depending on the mode of delivery, must be added to the price of the individual product and/or service to the total amount of the purchase. The total amount due for the products and/or services chosen will be clearly indicated and communicated to the Customer, prior to the conclusion of the Contract of Sale.
The prices shown on the site, are subject to possible changes and/or modifications by RIVA 1933 S.R.L. without any obligation to notify the customer. Such variations may depend on price changes decided by RIVA 1933 S.R.L.’s suppliers. The prices in force at the time of receipt of the Order will apply to Sales Contracts concluded prior to the publication of the aforementioned changes, but still in progress.
These General Conditions are governed by Italian law as well as each Sales Contract and subject to Italian jurisdiction. Any dispute relating to the General Conditions or to the Contracts of Sale shall be devolved to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Court of Verona, without prejudice to the applicability of the mandatory rules of law set up to protect Consumers.

FAULTY GOODS

In case the delivered goods have any defects:

  • the same may be returned to RIVA 1933 S.R.L. within 15 days after delivery has taken place.
  • shipping and packaging costs for returning the shipment are the responsibility of RIVA 1933 S.R.L.
  • defective goods will be returned or refunded (in case they are out of stock) by RIVA 1933 S.R.L.

DAMAGED SHIPMENT

If you receive packages from RIVA 1933 S.R.L. that are visibly damaged by the courier, (broken packaging or visibly stained by spillage from any broken bottles or other containers) you can do the following:

  • If it is more than one package, reject the damaged package to the sender by signing the courier bill “With Reserve” specifying the reason. We will then arrange for the return of the damaged package and send it back to you.
  • On the other hand, if it is a one-pack shipment, reject the shipment back to the sender and as before we would take care of the return and restoration of the shipment.
  • Any shipping costs for returning the damaged package to the sender and redelivering the new one are fully borne by us.

In the event that the broken product is out of stock, you will be contacted for a possible replacement; if no replacement product is found, RIVA 1933 S.R.L. will return the amounts paid.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

Purchases on the contini1933.co.uk website are subject to the regulations of Legislative Decree. 206/2005 and Legislative Decree. 21/2014, which guarantees the right to withdraw, for any reason, from the purchase contract.
The following are the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal:

  • To exercise the right of withdrawal, the purchased goods must be substantially intact
  • the right of withdrawal is reserved only for natural persons. Thus, purchases made by resellers or parties who in any capacity purchase for resale to third parties are excluded.
  • upon receipt, the goods will be inspected for damage or tampering, so care is recommended when preparing the package using the original packaging or similar packaging.
  • To exercise this right, the customer must send us a notice indicating the intention to withdraw from the purchase made, within 15 days from the date of receipt of the goods ordered and must send us the goods within an additional 15 days.
  • shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

Procedure to be followed for withdrawal

You must send an e-mail to info@contini1933.it containing a statement that you wish to exercise the right of withdrawal, giving all the required information:

  • order number and order date
  • invoice number
  • The list of products subject to withdrawal (identifying each item with the item number)
  • their bank details (IBAN code)
  • Then you must wait for a communication from our Customer Service Department authorizing the return.

Upon receipt of such notice you must return the subject merchandise within an additional 15 days to:
