Grappa of “Barolo 15 years”

Long aging gives this grappa a unique sensory signature. Its extremely deep color heralds that aromatic power and smoothness that are later found during tasting. It is a dry and austere distillate that does not indulge in cloying notes: the aromatic profile is dominated by spices (cloves, pepper, nutmeg, anise, licorice, tobacco) and hints given by the barrique. However, the hints of the raw material used are not covered, which are instead accompanied by notes of plum, candied fruit and from dried fruits such as hazelnut and almond. All in an extremely frank whole.
